Scientific research and its practical application: the “Indigenous entrepreneurial visions training project”.

I am an involved researcher, because I like research that matters and with high practical impact. That is why this training project, “Indigenous Entrepreneurial Visions”, was born. I believed that my scientific research on indigenous women entrepreneurship could concretely help indigenous women to develop their entrepreneurial projects and enhance their entrepreneurial vision in their communities.

This training project was created in 2017 with the aim of promoting indigenous women  entrepreneurship in its most authentic form. In fact, if entrepreneurship has often been highlighted as one of the possible solutions to help Indigenous women to improve their living conditions and positively transform their communities all around the world, it is also true that Indigenous women represent a specific entrepreneurial population due to their cultures, their experiences and their status in society.

This is why this training project supports indigenous women entrepreneurs with a tailor-made training project adapted to the characteristics of Indigenous women entrepreneurship.

Capitalizing on the knowledge acquired during my doctorate on Indigenous women entrepreneurship, together with my passion, motivations and skills, the training project – “Indigenous entrepreneurial visions” – was born with a main program “How to define and implement the indigenous entrepreneurial project” which consists of three modules.

Each module was created to define, implement and communicate Indigenous entrepreneurial projects with appropriate training programs, tools and content. This project values the recognition of the indigenous entrepreneurial spirit and the authenticity of indigenous cultures, distancing itself from conventional entrepreneurial training paths to adapt in content and teaching methods to the different cultures of Indigenous entrepreneurs.

“Empower your vision” is the slogan of this project. In fact, giving space to the entrepreneurial visions of Indigenous women seemed essential to me, and also the starting point for their entrepreneurial realization. By accompanying Indigenous women in the development of their entrepreneurial projects, I saw with great satisfaction the implication and improvement of the projects in the Indigenous women I met.

This training project “Indigenous Entrepreneurial Visions” expresses the vision I adopt of scientific research, that is, when it goes beyond theoretical boundaries to find an application in the respective contexts of life. I am a proud researcher who believes in scientific research and the changes it can bring to society. I am enthusiastic about this training project, which you will find in detail in the - special projects section - of my website, and I hope that it will continue to bring positive and lasting changes to indigenous communities around the world and pride and satisfaction to Indigenous women.
